Performance hisory: Lyrics taken from forum posts about heroin abuse written by Geir Barstad at freakforum.no prior to his early death. Several riffs written by Geir for his youtubechannel “metalrr5”. The rest of the music by Glans. Premiered by Ensemble Rex, Maren Sofie Nyland Johansen, Elvin Ingeborgrud, Andrien Dyblie Erdal and Jakob Glans in Sofienberg kirke, Oslo 02.12.2025. Gathered roughly 1000 euros in charitable donations for medical help for drug addicts in Oslo.

Performance hisory: Dedicated to Bjørn Mikkelsen, Jakob Glans’s grandfather. The piece was written for and premiered by “Freidig Mannskor”, a choir of men mostly aged over 60+ based in the small village of Bardu in Northern Norway. Freidig Mannskor premiered the piece in their village in October 2024. Bjørn Mikkelsen sang in the choir as a part of bass. II, at the age of 82.

Performance hisory: Premiered by Insimul Sinfonietta at Tou in Stavanger, Norway 2021. Went on tour alongside “8 songs for a mad king” by Peter Maxwell Davies in 2022 with Insimul Sinfonietta. Performed at Ålborg operafestival and Copenhagen Litteraturhaus.
